Avant Mining was founded in 2010 with the purchase of the de Linde wavellite claim in Avant, Arkansas. One year later Avant had purchased its first crystal mine and by the 5th year of operation purchased nearly 12,000 acres of mineral holdings. Not only focusing on quartz crystals, its Arkansas-based Mona Lisa Mine is the only gem-quality turquoise mine in the eastern half of the United States.
